NAMI Finger Lakes provides information about local resources for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. In case of an emergency that requires police assistance, call 911 and ask for Emergency Responders with mental health experience. Addiction Recovery
Alcohol & Drug Council of Tompkins County - Counseling and referral services to support sobriety and good health.
Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services - Outpatient, residential, and tele-health treatment and rehabilitation services
The Reach Project - Harm reduction medical practice with addiction and other services.
Ithaca Community Recovery - Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Ala-teen other 12-step programs.
Cortland Prevention Resources-a Division of FCS - Drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention services and educational programs for children, teens, adults and families.
Housing
Catholic Charities of Cortland - Residential and Housing Services that are licensed by the NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services and by the NYS Office of Mental Health.
Lakeview Health Services - Affordable housing and support to persons with mental illness as well as health care coordination services to individuals with chronic mental health challenges.
Unity House - Housing options, rehabilitation programs and employment services for people with mental illness.
Horizon House - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Homeless Services. Includes outpatient, and inpatient services.
Tompkins Community Action - Housing and rental assistance for individuals with very low incomes.
Ithaca Housing Authority - Public assistance housing for individuals with very low incomes.
Cortland Housing Authority - Public assistance housing for individuals with very low incomes.
Second Wind Cottages - Permanent housing program that aims to help formerly homeless individuals to heal and recover from their homelessness.

Advocacy Center - Crisis line, suicide prevention education, after-trauma counseling and groups.

Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga -Behavioral health services including assisting adults living with mental illness and/or substance abuse, to reach greater independence, achieve their life goals and become more involved in their communities.
Racker - Strength-based support for individuals with disabilities and their families in Tompkins, Cortland and Tioga counties.

Mental Health Association Family Support Program - Support for parents/caregivers raising children or young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing social, emotional, addiction, or behavioral health challenges.
Village at Ithaca -Advocates for educational equity and excellence for all students, particularly Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino/Latinx, low income, and any other underserved students within Tompkins County, through strategic community relationships, assessment of the local district’s practices and policies, and responsive programs and services.
