NAMI Finger Lakes provides information about local resources for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. In case of an emergency that requires police assistance, call 911 and ask for Emergency Responders with mental health experience. 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline - Support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources and best practices for professionals.
Suicide Prevention and Crisis Service - Local crisis counseling, staffed by trained crisis counselors and volunteers. You do not have to be suicidal to access this crisis service. Families and friends can call this number to help assess how to move forward to help someone in crisis.
