NAMI Finger Lakes provides information about local resources for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. In case of an emergency that requires police assistance, call 911 and ask for Emergency Responders with mental health experience. Forensic Services, Psychiatric Services, Medication Therapy, Long Acting InjectablesPersonalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) - A comprehensive recovery-oriented program for adult individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. For ages 18 years and older.
Cayuga Health Behavioral Services - Short-term, in-patient psychiatric care for patients with identifiable, diagnosable, and treatable psychiatric illnesses who are at imminent risk. Cayuga Medical Center has two Behavioral Services units, one for adults over the age of 18 years, and one for adolescents between 13 and 17.

Farm-Based Treatment Programs
Farm-based Care programs combine health care & structured work to promote mental and physical health through normal farming activity. Below is a sampling of programs available.
Gould Farm – Farm community dedicated to helping adults with mental health and related challenges move toward recovery and independence through community living, meaningful work, and clinical care, Located in Massachusetts.
Cooper-Riis – Farm community for people with mental health challenges and High Functioning Autism and/or those formerly diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. Located in western North Carolina.
Hopewell Inn – Farm-based residential treatment program for adults with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and major depression. Located in Mesopotamia, Ohio
